News:

Use of ePSXe before 2.0 is highly discouraged. Mednafen, RetroArch, and Duckstation are recommended for playing/testing, pSX is recommended for debugging.

Apparently pjirc and mibbit don't work for me anywhere.

I'm terminated from mibbit and irc just doesn't load. Wonderful.

Maybe the server you're trying to connect to is down?

Or maybe the Mibbit god cursed you for your blasphemy.
