Hi everyone :)

I am new in this forum and i would like to get some information about Ganesha.

My aim is to get the map textures from the game and save them as png or whatever image document but with the good colors.

I have the map folder of the game (GNS files) and i open them with ganesha.
I can save the maps by pressing the "O" buton (so i am happy until here :) )
But all my maps are made with grey colors.

How can I get them with good colors ?
I don't find answer to my question.

Thx u in advance :)

Ganesha always exports in grayscale so that they are editable and import easier. How the textures work is that the whole file is only 16 colors, hence the 16 color gray scale, and then depending on the palette and color order it can look different. The only way to actual edit textures is to do all your changes in the grayscale. What I usually do is open a separate file with the texture with the palette I want so that I can see what colors I'm changing.

Additionally, I believe the most recent version of the map viever, map2gl I think it is called, can export the textures with different palettes but you can't edit the textures.

Thank you for a so quick answer ;)

So if I understand, I have to change color map manually ? (Unless i use map2gl, but the problem with this way is that i won't be able to edit texture :) ).

Alright, i guess i have no choice :)

Could you (and other people too :) ) give me some advice to change color "quickly" (even if i suppose it takes time).
I mean, for exemple, is it possible to change all pixel sharing one color by an another ?
(I am aware that i do not have to used this way in the benning because there is only 16 different gray)

I tought to change them with "Graphics Gale", but if you know some other tool, i will be pleased to know them.

NB : By the way, excuse me if i make some errors in my sentences. But i am sure you are cool people :)
