Excellent! Good to know Funeral is finally getting some attention!

while i push myself to make real progress with my new character, i also had an idea to do a sprite for Arche Klaine from tales of phantasia.

i think it'd be hilarious to have an event with her and one of her "...i'll do something special for you..." skits!

the things is, it'd be quite an undertaking to take a human sprite and try to get it where she's on her broom... it'd probably work better to put her into a monster sprite sheet, since monsters and arche both have only a handful of unique animations. with this, it'll have innate float and possibly innate fly (...why not?)

or, i could do walking arche, go into item.bin, change one of the wand (or spear) graphics into a broom, and set one or two of the respective weapon to use that weapon graphic, and change any other so that you don't get a wizard rod or holy lance that looks like a broom!

Arche on a broom would be sqeet but I would just have her on the ground. Its hard trying to animate something else in the frame. Getting Navi to fly right in Link's frames is hard but almost done.

A finished Funeral would be sweet. Tales of Phantasia is sweet and Arche would certainly be cool.

Looks like it should finish up nicely. Are you able to use the arms of another sprite?

He looks so expressive, clean cut and adorable! Once again Zozma you are doing wonderful work for an already incredible game. Blansch, Bolmna, Gelwan, Elidibs, all those deserving fellows now finally can enjoy a spot in the sun!

Zozma: Is the most current version of the 10 year old boy the preview you have posted on page 15 of this topic?

yeah, i am using zalmo's arms they are a perfect match!
just as generic male orcale armes are a perect match for funeral.

yeah the little boy i havent updated since i started work on the 10yo girl...
upon discovering that malaks arms are the closest match for the children ill be re-doing the arms on the boy.

Cool, I'm thinking of doing a palette swap or some minor changes to the 10 yr boy and wanted to make sure I was using the most updated version. But I doubt I will mess with the arms so i will just fiddle with what you already have posted. Just a little something for C.O.K. not a real project.

i noticed the portrait of a little boy with purple shirt. well you could recolor the 10girls arms and put them in place it should work better then the current arms that he has which are part squire.

I hate to say it... though as adorable as Gelwan might be, he's still the mastermind behind the plot to kidnap and kill Ovelia. Despite what the Brave Story says the Rumors at this point lends a lot of credence to Delita's accusations.

Awesome, she looks very nice, though what happend to her sleeves/bracers? (I'm assuming her puple collar/scarf was cut because of color limits) Also, is that a belt or exposed midrift?
"Dave?  Are you there?"
"Yeah.  I can't get you through the cell now."
"You have to talk through the bratwurst from now on. I'm sorry. I didn't know it would do that."

that would be wicked awesome, I can just imagine her with some sort of Uber-chemist special job, all throwing grenades and poison bombs and whatnot.

Reis would probably be a good base for the shop keeper's daughter.

Terra looks pretty good too, but I don't know the character that well.

I love the way you always tackle obscure characters like that, Zozma. If you do sprites for all the 'ordinary' people than someone could make an 'uprising of the commoners' patch! =)

Terra's face is perfect. But the costume? Were you working off the character illustration, Amano's artwork or the sprite? Yes all 3 are different.

Now what I'm working on is my new scholar sprite. This is the male:
Parts: Mediator M, Larg, Mustadio, & Beowulf.
