Final Fantasy Hacktics

On my first play through I reached riovanes castle around level 40 or so, At the entrance battle rafa appeared as malak, then after winning the file would save as 000000000000 and the sprite changed back to generic. At the formation ramza was lvl 0 with the 2 basic jobs, and when attempting to go on to fight weigraf the game would auto end...using memory card saves only, and different isos. help please!

So I'm trying to figure out what could possibly be a problem to cause Rafa to appear as Malak and then end the game after the battle (inside riovanes castle). I had opened up the entd in the latest version of fftpatcher and changed the levels of all the enimies in the following battles 1af(ouside riovanes), ab0(inside riovanes) and 1b1 (roof riovanes) Ive looked over everything else, and i cant really figure out what could be wrong, ive even compared a clean iso in fftpatcher and my custom iso. drawing a blank here guys. please help!


This is really important because I'm trying to finish modding fft rebirth to have the new updated text from fft complete, and then go on to make my own harder version of rebirth.
