Do i need custom firmware to use the fft patcher?

AFAIK, yes. You would need to extract an image file from your UMD (which requires cfw), and then use fft patcher and any other hacking tools on the image file, and then throw the image file on to your memory stick, and play from there. I don't believe you can modify the umd directly

Do They have a cfw for the 6.37? i couldnt find one.

I'm not sure if they've managed to find any way to load cfw on to 6.37 ofw, especially not for the 3000.
