I need help finding the Battle.BIN file and will explain my steps ... plz help me if i made a mistake somewhere...

1. Downloaded a .IMG file re-naming it to .ISO to get an ISO file ... i was told to by searching google....
2. Used MagicISO to open the ISO file created ... i went through all the folders thinking it would be in BATTLE/BATTLE.BIN ....
, but all i found was a ZODIAC.BIN file at the end of the list in the battle//  folder and the other only contained WORLD.BIN ect...
3. Consulted Philsov he told me to use CDMAGE ... opened the ISO file using it ... wich took me a while to figure out .... it pretty much came up just like
MAGICISO did .... same thing ZODIAC.BIN .....

Do i just have a already patched version ... also where is the BATTLE.BIN file supposed to be at .... at last but not least .. once i do find it ... how would would i go about getting to the hex code to change it or w/e... cause im trying to fix or just revert back to the old one on the defend ASM hack bug to fix this for PSX/PS2

.... Thanks to all who help .. people have told me some, but they lacked some details ... iv'e never used the programs before or hacked .. seems easy tho once i know where to look and what the values mean ....

~Thanks all who have helped, all who will help, and to the forum's ... they've been great!!! :D

1) do not rename.

2) its not even in a folder:

(scus is highlighted, but battle.bin is right there)

You know Philsov .... I do believe your a one man army ... answering even the questions i post on the forums just so i don't have to bug the heck out of you ...

Problem was i was clicking the CD to drop down the list ... this however i guess hides the BATTLE.BIN and the other files but shows all the folders...

Anyway i got it now thanks again and now i guess i need a Hex Editor for the extracted BIN file ... so thanks again man!

btw I finally posted up a potential fix.  See patch's topic in the 1.3 forum -- looking for a guinea pig or two.
