When editing abilities (not weapons) I cannot find this Formula 02 that everyone is talking about. Ive read some of you talking about using this to make a "chain magic" ability that could cause two spells. Is there an ability that uses it already or is it only on weapons that cast spells?

Thanks! And I don't mean to be hi-jacking your topic Vanya!

Only weapons, if they actually wanted double cast, they would've probably added one that was 100%

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)

Don't worry about it. I haven't gotten a response anyway.

It's the 3rd formula on the list. It says:
02 Dmg_[Weapon] 25% Cast Spell Indexed As Status NS
The problem is that it doesn't animate properly when used in a skill as opposed to a weapon.

Isn't formula 5E useful for a double cast spell? It has a #Hit_(X+1).

It's MA exponential, which makes it extremely broken with tons of +MA gear.

Not faith based either.

So... Whats the final word on if this stuff works?

Here is my idea, maybe this would clear things up. I wanted to allow the players to use the boss magic without making it broken. So I figured a skillset with weak abilities with a % to cast another spell in addition to or instead of the first one would be nifty.
