News:

Use of ePSXe before 2.0 is highly discouraged. Mednafen, RetroArch, and Duckstation are recommended for playing/testing, pSX is recommended for debugging.

Hi. I'm Nagafen. I've come here after playing FFT for long enough, and, y'know, wanting to see some fun changes made. I really like this site, and would love to learn how to hack it properly. I also want to know... If I have questions regarding how to hack FFT, where do I post them? Thanks. Also, I would love to know how to edit and create my own sprites...

I really look forward to being here and making new friends. Thanks!

Probably Hacking tools for the moment might be the best place to ask questions, welcome to FfHacktics!

Makes sure to check out all the tutorials already available in the custom sprite, and hacking sections. As far as custom sprites go I would suggest just working on your own and learning from there.

Thanks Ceetah! And yeah, I've grasped the tutorial's.

My idea was.. I apoligise if this is too overdone here... well, the patch that the forum was working on, Ver 1.3... well that fixes the gameplay error's I was thinking of. But if it's possible to add new classes and make new sprites.. plus edit text's and FMVs.. Is it possible to create a slightly scaled down, PSX version of War of the Lions? In essence, a WOTL Patch if you will. I know that some jobs are hard encoded in the PSP version. But surely that coding must be based around the PSX version, even if slightly?

Please, tell me if this is even remotely possible, so you can put me outta my misery. And I am really bad at Spirte making, so do I go to the Sprite request thread to request designs for sprites?

Thanks. And nice to see another newcomer in arms, Iron! Good to have some new friends. And yeah, if you can hack well, ( and do good at spriting) this should go awesome. Nice to see you!

We cannot add stuff at all currently. That means no new jobs, or items without overwriting existing ones.

Recreating the extra scenes seems doable though.

Love what you're seeing? https://supportus.ffhacktics.com/ 💜 it's really appreciated

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)

Cool! Well, it's a start, regardless. And do you think it might be possible to add new stuff if FFT is still being worked on every day? Because I don't mind waiting at all..

Thanks. Now, I need those damn FMVs...
