You're just seeing them as opposite because of your belly button comparison..
I've been trying my hardest to explain (not in posts, just trying to think of how I could explain it) but I just can't put it into words.

I am but a doll on an endless stage,

My puppeteer sits far above,
Hiding His face behind a white glove.

And when I have aged to nothing but wood,
I will be tucked away in a closet where a doll once stood.
Then, as I gather dust and the world passes by,
I will be forgotten by the vast, blue sky.

males = 1
females = 2
herms =/= 3, as  as they do not have a 3rd type of genetalia, they have pieces from 1 and pieces from 2, and are, at best, a hybrid.

they don't have to be, they only have to be different

male has a different organ than female, but herms don't, they just have both

It being so hard to conceptualize may be the problem: If you can't satisfactorily defeat something as simple as a belly button analogy, it's very hard to state your case.

Whether you call it 3 (a new number) or 1.5 (the average of 1 and 2), that doesn't change the fact that both 1.5 and 3 != 1 and != 2.

Lolpenis = A word that has been passed down through the generations. This is a term of mockery but can also be used in times of humour and fun. Many people have taken to use it on internet forums when they feel the discussion is becoming too heated and some much needed humour needs to be injected into the conversation. Suspected to be derived from the Latin Lolpenare; Lolpeno: 1st conj. verb. "To astound; I astound" but it's origins are uncertain.

It being so hard to conceptualize may be the problem: If you can't satisfactorily defeat something as simple as a belly button analogy, it's very hard to state your case.
Nah, the belly button thing has nothing to do with it.
But I have given up trying to explain it, it was just a joke question in the first place.

You're set in your views and I am in mine, there's no reason to argue it any further.
Just because I can't explain my view correctly, doesn't make it invalid, it just means you won't be able to see it for what it is.

The last reply, though.. Was just me being stupid, because she was just being stupid the whole thread.
