Jot5 release and CCP are known not to run on console (and probably not certain emulators as well). Not sure about Durai.

Unfortunately, I don't know any more about Macs myself, and couldn't tell you what the best emulator is for FFT mods on it.

You'll need to be specific about what kind of patched files you're using.

In the earlier days of FFT hacking, ASM hacks would break the game on all but the most inaccurate/least prone to crashing emulators. Later hacks have been made less fragile, though certain emulators still can't handle them well, even if the original hardware can.

It's also possible that the original ISO is dirty, and you need to get a new one and then patch it all over again.

IIRC, if the new jobs are below the Generic jobs, they won't function correctly as party members. They're vaguely hardcoded as Monster jobs.

The emulator itself could also be the cause.

One of the TLW beta testers has dealt with a really finicky emulator that breaks certain damage formulas or event commands, for example.

Half Tactext and half event editing. And all the while constantly battling against the issue of the WotL lines being too wide for the PSX screen, crashing the text - sometimes in mild ways, sometimes in softlocking ways.

It's an endeavor that would take you months to do.

There's a reason that the only mods that have ever planned to do this sort of thing are Complete and TLWotL. Complete, from what I understand, doesn't even completely cover anything and/or has had to resort to less than ideal options, such as making certain messages multi-page when the page flip buttons would normally not be used. And TLWotL isn't out yet, since base TLW itself was a major endeavor.

They're using these sprites as placeholders.

I think I vaguely recall them, or perhaps someone else, asking about whether anyone would have any issues if some of the custom sprites were used as placeholders, and no one seemed unhappy with the idea, as long as credit was given.
I would say to check out the pinned topic of FFTA mods. Anarchy is probably a pretty good choice with removing all Laws, given how little the Laws actually really add to the game in FFTA.
Yeah, I have to agree with Xifanie. The {SP} character is already half the width of the space character - it isn't pixel width that's the issue when it comes to Tactext or event space.

Xifanie did say that there's no real reason to have that DarkScreen anymore and it might as well be removed.

Very minor bug: At the end of the All-Stars Rendezvous battle, the camera focuses on Fake Orlandu, but the UnitAnim command targets Fake Ramza's Unit ID rather than Fakelandu's.

There are also some annoying bugs with Mirror Match (that should all be cleared up with another round of event edits).

Similarly, Cerabow just had Rafa die at the entrance to Riovanes Castle, and it didn't trigger her to teleport away. She and Malak didn't bail until after he was defeated.

As noted by Caazan, Mustadio does not permanently join with the correct loadout.

This is because in vanilla, Goug Slums Mustadio stealth joins the party as a guest, and in the talking event, is then recruited directly out of his guest slot. So in that event, he's not set to match his normal starting stats, since they just loaded him from formation.
