New Project Ideas / Job Idea (Just sharing a concept)

Hacktician
Description: More than just a tactician, uses hacks to lead battle in their favor.
Requirements:
Squire LV 8
Knight LV 8
Summoner LV 2
Passive:
Efficiency: Scale of 0-100, lower on the scale the less effective (HP UP and a 0 would actually do damage), higher on the scale the more effective (HP UP and a 100 would double HP)
Abilities:
HP UP: Increases HP,
HP DOWN: Decrease HP
MP UP: Increase max MP
MP DOWN: Decrease max MP
SPD UP: Increase speed
SPD DOWN: Decrease speed
CRIT UP: Increase CRIT chance
CRIT DOWN: Decrease CRIT chance
Random Attack: Use a random damaging attack
Random status: Gives a random status.
HP Gain: 22
MP Gain: 7
I don't really know all the aspects of job creation nor do I plan to do much with this idea, just sharing the idea.

Help! / Use of spreadsheets?

In my last topic I asked for tools to help me get started, since than I have changed job names, job descriptions, switched around abilities in "Guts" and "Basic Skills" and replaced chapter 1 Ramza's sprites.
As of the moment i'm wondering if anyone can explain what exactly spreadsheets are used for.

So, i've only recently gotten into emulation, modding, and patching, I play Tactics WoTL through the ppsspp emulator, and I already modded a copy of the game to be "Final Fantasy Tactics War of The Lion Tweak 2.5"
As of the moment I am trying to patch the same copy with "Final Fantasy War of The Lions Remixed", but that is besides the point.
I want to be able to create my own patch for the game so I can add a new character and job, but do not know where to begin, and was wondering if anyone has some tips for where and how to begin.
