Well, I'll fix the hat and waist plate.

I'm having some difficulties with uh...eh... underwear of Kuja. He has such strange design that I dunno how to do it, so don't expect don't much from it, I will post him 03 Dec, since I have to study a lot.

How is Freya, Jimmy?

EDIT: hehe, there is always some time for spriting, here he is WITHOUT the underwear, I simply don't have an idea of how to do it, it's just not enough space. Also some sugestions on hair someone?

Honestly, a thong won't really translate to sprite all that well. I think you should just give him pants. So far the sprite looks okay, though it looks like you used dark gray/black instead of purple for his clothes, and the arms look a little funky too. Great start though, keep up the good work, Kage.

Okay, Kage. If you want to put the underwear, I'll tell you what you can try to do.

1 - Is the sleeve from Balmafula? If no, then try Balmafula.

2 - That skirt around his waist, cut short, something like Agrias because if you look at the reference picture, its down from waist to feet but just the back, not the side. Side is short and curve to the back. By doing that, your sleeves and that skirt won't be clashing.

3 - Once you fix the above, you could try adding the underwear by add a few pixels of lines. Try take a look at Seushiro's Steiner, see how the underwear is done.

Overall, great start, Kage.

As for Freya, its hard than I thought, mostly because of her snout. I just recoloured her cloth to red and add shoulder/arm pads (because its more to the side of her arms rather than shoulder), which I don't think is good and making her snout. Its going to take awhile.

No, I'm serious! She's looking really good so far. I think what's bugging you could be a couple of things:
- Freya is more of a whitish color than gray
- She's got a super-cool hat in IX  :wink:

Hmm...I know that she is white but it'll be clashing with her hair. I'll try to get the white working. As for the hat, yeah, looking cool ^^

I'd just switch out the colors you used previously: the more bluish white color should be for the hair and the more brownish gray-white color should be for the skin. Good luck man; I think you can pull this off.

EDIT: Also, with that switch, I can free the blue for her skarf because now, it's a little bit clashing with her face. Again, thanks mav. I was cracking my head on how to free the blue.

I wouldn't swap the hair and skin tone, though. Just make her skin (fur?) a light shade of grey instead of the heavy tones you already have. Her hair is perfect as is. ^_^

Tough call. I like them both. Lighten the bluish tone just a tiny bit more on the left one and I think it will be golden. ^_^

Looking good so far jimmy, I can't wait to see more, Freya's my favorite FF IX character.

It doesn't look like having her hair and and face the same color would clash too much, they seem distinct even with similar shades.
