Haha, Barney the Dinosaur. Yeah, the Dragon is a much better approach, Like you mentioned just fix the shoulder, chest, and I would give him scales too. I don't know about those grey pixels on his mouth(tooths), perhaps erase them for now and mess with them later :P

Overall, Great start, clearly you're trying hard to grasp this style, and this is your best approach yet I would say :D

You can always use Cocatrice as reference for lizard feet, and Dragon's are perfect for back frames, should you have trouble with those. You can find some aid in those two if you have no idea how to make stuff look. For the tail, Ahriman could prove usefull. As for the sprite itself, have you thought about lightening the lightest brown/skin color a bit more? It might work nicely on small view, make it clearer looking(and give that eye a bit of a more definition).

Overall, great concept, I like it! :D

Converter doesn't even need to exist in the first place. You have ShiShi to set the types for you if needed, and changing Type 2 s[rite into Type 1 manually seems like a heavilly needless labor :P

Overall the shapes aren't too bad, it's the shading that is the issue here. It has pillow shading in some places and banding. I would suggest using Wiegraf's hair and copy/paste somethiung that will look similiar instead of customing it, since doing custom portraits is especially hard. With some work, it will work out :)

Neck on portrait is pretty bulky, mainly due to that darker skin tone on the side. Would you mind posting normal sized portrait and sprite too? For the sprite, the fur could use more shading. You might wanna try harder on making his hair different from Wiegraf's a little bit more. It's coming along nicely :)

Heh, I postponed ay work I was doing here when Ch1 of JoT5 was being worked on. Some old monster sprites got some nice updates though(Werewolf for example).

And yeah, JoT5 pretty much came to be while you were gone, it's a nice patch, try playing it and see all the sprites all of us did :D

Once again I come back to one of my first sprites I ever did on FFH, and decide to improve her further. I tihnk that the last one is pretty spot on with her concept(at last). Thoughts?
