I loved One Piece, but I haven't been paying attention lately. Maybe later when my life is in order.

I don't think I have a choice. I think Funi stopped dubbing it after Toonami died.

One Piece is by far the best pieces of media ever created, I fucking love it to death and I hope it never ends. The show is coming up on episode 400 now in Japan while maintaining good pacing (unlike DBZs ridiculously drawn out battles) and very little bullshit filler like Naruto is now famous for.

One Piece is just freaking awesome. Oh and Toonami is dead?

I also didn't know xD
Yeah one piece is fucking good, but i think we must thank DB for that: everyone want to emulate his success, and they ended creating 2 better anime-manga: One piece and Naruto (but this one is decaying slowly imho)

Naruto and Bleach have both been getting worse and worse in my opinion. One Piece is the only one maintaining if not improving upon it's glory. I love how wacky and kickass it manages to be all at the same time. I have to say that the last chapter of the manga may have been the wackiest ever lol.

the one at the fifth level of impel down you mean? I have still to read it xD
Btw, I hate Bit.h (IMHO the real name of Bleach xD)...you think it should be seen, maybe only for curiosity?

No no I really don't like Bleach. I breeze through the manga every now and then to see where it is going, but I really can't tolerate it. So little creativity and it just has such poor flow and plot. I have actually found myself watching more American cartoons recently than anime.

Every year or so I get the urge to watch an anime. There's not much of the stuff I like. One Piece is on my list of "potentials," though.

I watched a lot of Bleach a year or two back. Gave up on it after the first big story arc; just so many flashbacks and drawn out, episode spanning battles I can stand.

Well I'm a comic book fan at heart so remember that when taking my suggestions for American Cartoons. The current series I would recommend keeping an eye on are:

Spectacular Spider Man
Wolverine and the X-Men

Spectacular Spider Man in particular is really well done with true story archs and continuity. Wolverine and the X-Men I have to mention just because I am a huge fan of the X-Men, though it isn't quite at the same quality as Spectacular Spider Man.

Two other series I highly recommend are:

Avatar: The Last Air Bender
Gargoyles

Avatar is a great melding of western and japanese animation and story telling styles and is simply and amazing story. Gargoyles is older from the 90's and waxes and wains in quality, but still has some interesting ideas and good stories.

I second Cheetah's Avatar recommendation. A great show all-around and it can be watched online which is another plus.

I also liked watching Gargoyles but towards the end the animation quality dropped and stories went to shit.

Another great American cartoon was the X-Men show from the 90s that used be given on Fox. Definitely the best transition from comic book to animation for X-Men.

As for Japanese Animation, I barely watch any shows anymore because of fillers and drawn out drama sequences. I suggest instead reading Manga online for their quality.

Yeah I have been having real trouble finding any good animes now adays. I definitely only read Naruto now adays not watch.

I don't know about watching these online, I bittorrent everything.

The 90s X-Men show was really great, Wolverine and the X-Men is getting close to the quality of that.

I always liked the Amazing Spiderman cartoon, as well as the the simply titled, Batman: The Animated Series, and of course, the 90's X-Men show. Other american cartoons i'd recomend would be Samurai Jack, and the first few seasons of Dexter's Lab, and Beast Wars.

On the anime front, I agree with Cheetah that One Peice is awesome, its definately in my top 10 anime series of all time, which is saying something as most of the anime I favor tends to favor drama over humor, that or giant robots.

Personal Anime Favorites
Revolutionary Girl Utena (this is my favorite series of all time, despite the total lack of robots, giant or otherwise)
Sailor Moon (this is the show that really introduced me to anime as being something distinct from normal cartoons)
Mazinger Z (this is the first anime i ever saw, before I even knew what anime was, and is probablly the reason i'm so fond of giant robots)
Gundam: 8th MS team (I love all the Universal Century timeline gundam series, but 8th MS Team and 0080: War in the Pocket are my favorites)
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the pocket (see above)
Cowboy Bebop
Outlaw Star
Macross (because all jet fighters should be able to turn into robots)
Witch Hunter Robin
Fate/Stay Night
"Dave?  Are you there?"
"Yeah.  I can't get you through the cell now."
"You have to talk through the bratwurst from now on. I'm sorry. I didn't know it would do that."

Onemanga is a good source for any manga. I keep up to date on One Piece manga, its very good. I used to watch Naruto/Bleach, but they continually get worse.

Haven't watched any One Piece in anime form yet, looks like I gotta find it from all the positive comments I've read here.
