Modding the elemental guns help

Ok so I want to make for example the Ice gun do ice 1 ice 2 and for the ice 3 I wanted it to be a water spell instead so do I just change the blizzaga spell in the black mages to water element etc ?

Yes Tony, you could do that. But if you wanted to keep those original spells as well (Ice 1, Ice 2 etc) then you'd have to put copies of them over some unused ability slots.
