Getting Started Modding FFT?

Just became a member because I'm trying to figure this all out. I can get/make custom sprites/classes here?

Also, can I use this on my ps1 or do I need an emulator for my pc?

Not even sure where to start, but am more than willing to make a couple sprites myself and share.

To learn how to do things, you should check out Tutorials and the Tutorial Index.  You can find several Tutorials about Spriting and basic modding here.

Whether your patch will work on something like a PS1, modded PS2, etc. depends on which ASM hacks you use.  Basically, the answer is "it depends."

Splitting this off because it doesn't directly pertain to FFTPatcher.
