Mog / Moogle

Hello, I discovered this website whilst searching for FFT sprites. I am currently developing a prototype for a game and have decided to use Final Fantasy sprites as placeholders since they interchange with some of my ideas quite well. This is getting a little carried away, but I'm rolling with it to speed up the process for creating a playable demo. This idea has led to the desire for more FF canon stuff, and I wanted the sprites to fit in.

FFT has no playable moogle character so I guessed there'd be custom sprites somewhere. And so I found this place. Alas, I found only 2 sheets (after lots of searching, some of the content is really fragmented here, do you have a database or something?), one of which almost hit the spot.

So I edited it. Here is the resultant sprite. I've done very little pixel-based 'sprite' creating, and I do not need more than this single frame. I based it mostly from Mog and the moogle summon artwork from FFT.

The content on this board this is really awesome, I'm especially impressed with the portraits that have been done. If anyone of you talented spriters wants to build a full set based on my edits, go ahead. Oh and, I hope Tonb3rry doesn't mind me posting my edit of his sprite.

Kagebunji made the moogle, not Tonberry if I remember it correctly, and there is a full sheet of it on here somewhere. I don't think anyone "wants to build a full set based on your edits" though. Gotta do it yourself on here.
There ain't no gettin' offa this train we on!

I wasn't asking for it, just saying that they've no need to ask for permission if they thought necessary. :)
