need some help

Using the psx version and fftpatcher i am trying to edit the starting cadet crew, or entd 188.  I took one of the extra sprites from mustadio, rafa, meludiol, and malak to make my characters and made sure that the actual characters used their other ones.  I made new classes for the characters and changed their jobs and skill sets.  So when i start the game the first battle works fine, they have their special classes and everything, but after the battle i go into formation and their main jobs are not what i set, they are the original jobs of the sprites i changed, like the sprite i changed of mustadio for my character now has his engineering skill set even though i never set it. The malak one worked but the others did not.  Not sure what i could do to fix this problem so any help is appreciated  :mrgreen:

The sprite set and base class are the same ID, so if you want to change the base class for a particular sprite set, you need to change the same class ID. I don't know of a way to decouple those.
