Changing item availibility in FFTPatcher

I used the Items tab in FFTPatcher to change what is in the shops, but when I tested, the new items did not show up. I changed when they were available and which shops they were in.  Is there something else I need to change to have the items show up?

I also see a shop inventories tab, but when I checked that, my items were added in automatically, so that doesn't seem to be the issue.

I was able to remove items and see my changes show up.

Weird, it seems to have worked for mine on the PSP. I changed what chapter they were available in and when, then which shops they belonged to.

Just to clarify, the dropdown that sets when the item becomes available in shops DOES work in FFTP.

I thought this was one of the features that didn't work? Is it only the proposition section that doesn't work then?

I couldn't say on that. I've never tried to modify any Props. If it makes a difference, I use v0.478 exclusively.

Yes, the when available part is working for me, just not which shop it was in.  I just didn't realize it until I used Raven's spreadsheet since I was only checking the shops I was trying to add my items to.

As I said, the where works as well. Or at least it seems to for me. I used it to set up Gariland with the first crossbow (weakened), as well as look at all the crossbows, bows, axes, maces, and bags early on in a test, to make sure I'd done the text right in TacText. (I hadn't.)

I wonder if it matters which items then.  I was trying to add books and katanas to Gariland at the beginning of the game.

I'd guess just that you hadn't changed the "When Available" yet then. I know I forgot to change mine back after testing. "Why is there a mace with 14 power and I haven't even watched Barbaneth die...?"
