Does vanilla allow the weather or lighting to change over the course of a battle?  Or based on an event in a battle?

Is it possible to create events that trigger after a specified number of clockticks (or some other measure of time, though I don't know what else could be used) have passed?

Can random battles have events?

Is there any distinction in the game between outdoors and indoors?  (Unrelated, but can it rain indoors?  Do weather effects work on any battlefield?)  Can weather effects be seen through a window but not effect a battlefield otherwise?  How about lighting?  Will candles and torches maintain their lumenesence while the battlefield lighting changes?

I'm wondering if it's possible to throw a day/night system together, and to link things to it.  Things like battle performance, based on the value of a stat.

Brave or Faith replacement
*Alignment
**0 = absolute evil
***Evil units take less damage and deal more damage at night.
***Evil units take more damage and deal less damage during the day.
**100 = absolute good
***Good units take less damage and deal more damage during the day.
***Good units take more damage and deal less damage at night.

*Units take more damage from and deal more damage to other units based on how far apart their alignment is.  So two guys with 50 aligments won't get any bonus, but two units - one with 0 aligment, the other with 100 - would get the max damage bonus.

*Alignment is raised or lowered depending on what you do.  If you damage an enemy and it's alignment is lower than yours, then your alignment will go up (the greater the difference between your alignment and his, the greater the change in your alignment).

*Also, alignment change is sticky as it reaches each extreme.  That is, the closer your aligment is to one extreme, the easier it is to get closer to that extreme, and the harder it is to get away from that extreme.

*Alignment could also work into class requirements, or maybe work as a replacement for two of the elements (Holy and Dark), if a spell changes your alignment for the duration it is cast (though that's a half-assed replacement).

Kokojo

1: AFAIK, no. But it would be possible with event editing, thought no one found out how yet. (except the wapanease)

2: On a certain unit turns, not ticks.

3: Only minor events like people moving on specific locations, no text. You are restricted to 127 unit ID.

4: No. Weather can always be indoor. Light is based on the map ''raw'' data. Nothing will change.

5: Blehhhhhhhhh
