what i like so much about it is its really based on the original ff7 character art and not the new stuff everyone in those looks quite a bit more ... well asian and thats not how i pictured tifa at all.

yeah... the only character in FF7 that was actually asian was Yuffie.

but that's like the japanese: after decades of making japanese anime/manga/gamecharcters look western, they finally go and make western ones look asian...

maybe because it was a bigger hit than they expected? or perhaps the artist doing the 3d models just gets those features in there weather deliberate or not.

its kind of like how the character art in 7 must be by a different artist than the way they are drawn in newer stuff like say, kingdom hearts. its not as good as original tho it may look nice too..

that might help us out. i dont see why we would need to make a tifa sprite from scratch if such a well made one already exists.. im sure its easy to get if you are japanese...

its funny no one seemed to request one being made, but it would be nice.
id love to have the trio Cloud, Tifa, Barret together again as after aeris died i always used those 3.

i also found portraits of Zack and Guildus (tactics ogre) i wonder if they made the sprites already, whoever the portrait maker is, they are pretty good. if anything they would make good templates if anyone wants to use them as base portraits for customs

hmmmm for some reason i wanna say that the japanese are prideful and arrogant but you still never know, and as far as hacking aside from sprites, there will be conflicts as jp and eng games are somewhat different

hmm funny thats what I automatically assumed too.... I hate to just think that way but why else would this stuff be so super hard to find... there wouldnt be any conflict with sprites tho... still I have no doubt that i can make a beautiful Tifa myself if I really have to resort to that. I, however, am holding out the hope that we will someday soon get to this one instead. and wed give credit to the creator if we even knew what his/her name was lol...

I wish I had some free time I put a lot of time into those Jap sites trying to find their sprites I did manage to find some pretty cool sites, though not Tifa.
