FFTactext object reference not set to an instance of an object.

It looks as if I am a little late getting into the FFT patching compared to every one else, but oh well.

Here is my problem.
I have been working on my own custom patch on top of the v 1.3 already. (Love 1.3 btw)
I know how to work with stats, skills, and most things in the patcher.
I know how to work with sprites (At least in battle for the most part lol)
But when I start to mess around with Tactext I get confused.

I import my PSX ISO. (V 1.3).
Now, I am trying to change ALL generic jobs. So, I went to "text"-"Quick edit" and just scrolled through and changed a generic name every time I passed one up. (ex. Squire-Cadet, Chemist-Alchemist etc..)

Once I get all of that done, I move on over to "Quick Edit"- "Job req."
I change all the reqs into the new job names I have created and change the levels to what I saw fit to what I needed.

K, so now I try to patch it up, and I wait, then I get  "object reference not set to an instance of an object."
I have tried looking for spelling errors, and have tried google looking for help, and looking in here for help, but just can't seem to find it.

Help?

P.S.- if this is the wrong place to post this I am sorry, I don't really delve in to forums lol

For descriptions, try to keep them below a width of 200~.  Job, item and ability names should be 72~ or lower.  Space is generally the biggest issue with FFTactext, so try to keep descriptions as brief as possible.  I myself wouldn't use more than four lines per description; however, there are exceptions, just try to keep most of them at around 4~ lines.  Sometimes it's buggy if your second and beyond lines are wider than the first line, so try to keep them at the same width or smaller.  Using codes like {Ramza} in certain descriptions can cause problems, as well.  These are most of the things that gave me problems whilst experimenting with FFTactext, and I think it's pretty much limited to these.  I wish you the best of luck.

EDITED: Minor grammar errors.

Well I have not even touched abilities and skills yet, so I know everything should be working correctly there. Neither have I touched items. The longest name I have is Beast Master. I didn't even try to change job descripts either.

I have literally only changed job reqs and job titles.

Maybe it is grammer, I will go through and look again, but not so sure it is.
Thanks for a reply though! Makes me feel all snugly inside lol >.<

Edit: Odd thing I found out. Even when I just open FFTactext from my ISO, and then patch it without touching anything, it gives me the same error. Could it be that Tactext doesn't work with V1.3, or that maybe my file is corrupted or something?

EDIT: I don't think my previous help would be any use to you.  I think it only worked for me in the old Tactext; unless you're using the older one, of course.  (Newest is .478)
