i have the same issue, i just tell it not to block anything and it works just fine. This happens to me with ALL IRC rooms that i use. You could also get mIRC if youre that concerned, or something similar.

I get the same thing, but whether I click accept or deny my connection times out, which is why you never see pickletits on chat.
