Good sprite editor

i tried to edit with graficgales but when i opened the sprite,it close *--*

Many people just use MSPaint and then graphics gale to help with palettes.

but i only know how to change the colors

paletteeditor is for changing palettes, not editing sprites (to the best of my knowledge). Try paint, graphics gale, photoshop, or another image editing program.
