How does FFTPatcher decide which stat to affect?

So as I've been messing around with FFTPatcher a bit, I noticed that both Preach and Praise from the Mediator Talk Skill Set both use the same formula: 2A Hit_(MA+X)% //AffectBraveorFaith(Y).

The X and Y values are identical, and everything else seems to be identical other than the Effects.

This is just mainly out of curiosity, but does anyone know exactly it decided which stat to affect? Is it simply hardcoded into those respective abilities?

simply hardcoded.  This is also true for most of the knight and thief skills and a handful of others.
Just another rebel plotting rebellion.

Okay, that's what I figured. I just didn't want to assume that, however. Seemed too lazy of me  :P
