If by FE you mean Fire Emblem then yes, I've played and enjoyed the two for the GBA.

You mean Fire emblem and Fire emblem: The sacred stones?

I enjoy the Fire Emblem games, too.
Oh come now. That doesn't even make sense. How can flimsy paper possibly beat the raw density of stone?

Yes, that's what I meant, and yes, I'm a fan.  Not a fanatic or anything, but I liked them both.  I think the first one was better, being a bit more straightforward.

Fire Emblem is one of my favourites games of gba. I like a lot the FE: The sacred stones because without the straightforward story you can level up easily. Also I like the FE6, I don't remeber his title but the history is about Roy the Eliwood's son and have many characters including a Bandit for first time ever. Anyway it's a really kick-ass Saga

Play FE6 hard mode, then call yourselves fans.

Did, it's so hard it's not even funny
Come on, random reinforcement from nowhere always killing Clarine pissed me off

Yeah, and it's a very nice strategy game

Fire Emblem is also on the Gamecube and Wii, the one on the Wii being a direct sequel to the Gamecube one.

The only thing I liked better about Sacred Stones was the promoted unit options and apprentice units. Did the generals really need to add a sword to their collection? Either way they do look more badass with it.
I never learn from my mistakes.

Tigerspike

I agree, the branching promotions in Sacred Stones was great.  I keep hoping that will return in future installments.

FE7 characters are always going to be my favorites. Hector, Guy, Matthew, Erk, Hector, Lyn, Sain, Rath, Hector, Karel, Karla, Jaffar, and Hector. Best characters of the series. Also, everyone's gay for Lucius. Everyone after 7 just looked gay, ridiculous, ridiculously gay, or was lame, and I never dug the older game's art style. 6 was pretty good too, but I need to finish it so I can see everyone else.

And Ike can go suck a nut. I preferred Boyd anyway. Only reason Ike's good is cause he gets his Mary Sue+ sword. Fans would be riding Roy's nuts more if the Sword of Seals didn't only have 20 uses.

It's a good series, but I fell out of it a bit when I got tired of RNG antics with all my levels. Give everyone preset stats for crying out loud!

There's so few good SRPGs these days. FE just kinda gets swept under the rug by Nintendo, FFT gets butchered by Square Enix, and... Well, what else is there now...?

Pretty decent fan, yeah.  I prefer the GBA ones the most; the ones for gamecube/wii have too much party rotation for me to enjoy.  But!  I did enjoy their compatibility system far, FAR more than the setup in the GBA games.  In the GBA games you have to intentially drag out battles to get anything past C for most characters.

FE7 is probably the easiest of the bunch, but HHM is pretty good fun.

Prefer Sacred Stone the most out of the crew, mostly because of the forking job paths for increased replay value.  I never did care much for the trainees. though.

Also, the bow-using classes sucks.  So much.  Mages > them in every possible way except maybe vs. pegasus knights.

Yep. Try the one named "Fire Emblem" first, and avoid "Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones" at all costs. Not good for a first time FE playthrough, IMO.

Hmm...I think I'm going to try this too.

How is SS compared to FE7? FE7 Hector Hard Mode was... yeah, I didn't even finish it.
