Besrodio's workshop, late into the Lion War. Besrodio and his new apprentice, Tehranth, are busy making adjustments to the massive machine in the center of the room.

Tehranth: Boss, what are we doing again?
Besrodio: Stupid boy, do you not listen to anything I say? This machine is the Hero Maker, I'm sure of it! The last time we turned it on, it created that blonde man - and look at all the help he's been! Time to give it another go, our boys need all the help they can get!
Tehranth: Ah... and you're sure that's how this thing works?
Besrodio: Only one way to find out! Fire it up!

Whirring and clanging...

Bright light...

As the light clears, a figure stands in the center of the room. Could it be true? Is this really the Hero Maker?

Besrodio: What amazing armor...

Also for shizengiggles, I went ahead and modified the sprite enough to actually look good in game (made sure all the colors transferred, moved the head to fit properly, etc) so here's the SPR. (I'm waaaay too lazy to do a portrait, sorry - anyone care to explain how to do the multiple colors bit though? Is it as simple as doing layers, or is there more to it than that?)

Heh, that's a pretty neat sprite. You might wanna darken the lightest green a little bit, but it's no big deal.

lol, I know it's a silly sprite (I spent maybe 30 minutes on it in a coffee shop to be honest) and I know the Master Chief has no real place in Ivalice - the idea simply came to me one day, really randomly.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, Really I took Snake's body (don't remember who it was that made Snake and Old Snake, but they did a freaking awesome job) and then modified the ninja's head, took the green from Wiegraf's Shrine Knight outfit and voila.

Wiegraf Shrine Kight has green on him? He has red, only Izlude has green And about Snake, only arms are cool, rest is just a Squire.
