we are getting there.

Lets see,make his brown like the previous portrait and bring back that shading above the eyebrows,reduce the bangs and try to apply that area of the hair:

I've been messing with mav portrait and did one more frame to Young Simon.

Took the latest version added some shadow to the forehead and changed out the hair color.

I really dislikes that color dunno why,but my eyes said no.

This collar on his neck is kinda common, and used by other special characters(Aliste, Beowulf, Wiegraf), and that is why I get the feeliing that he is a brother of one of them :/ IMO this clothes fits more, you don't see this on any other portrait:

Hmm,I've been thinking about it,he needs to have a more uncommon collar,but the one in this portrait dont fit the sprite,since the sprite wear a scarf and doest have a white shirt/armor/whatever.Through some searching I found something that is somewhat custom and will keep the scarf/red armor thing.

What do you think?

mav would you mind making the last version of the portrait,I already put it on the new scarf,but I need to have its colors changed and need some repair on the new area of the hair,when you changed the colors it looked weird

I dont know how to explain it,but look at his hair,the new hair area looks very weird compared to the original one for some reason,maybe because there are too much dark colors or something dunno

My philosophy as a pirate myself is that I can't steal a companies work and then turn around and complain about someone doing the same to me.

nah,I prefer him without any facial hair.

Great Mav,we have the final version,I will post his .spr with Young Simon's spr,he is 3 frames away from completion,since my vacations are over,I might post both sprites next weekend
