Upgrade to PhpBB3?

• Installation, rework and shit.
• Lose all the links to attachments (actually they are all transfered correctly)

We can also just create a new forum instead of importing the old database in PhpBB3. We'd have the old forum and the new forum, but I don't think anyone wants that; resetting is gay.

Not really. I was much more concerned about the attachments.

Installing takes what, 15 secs? enter cpanel, fantastico deluxe, and enter the path to install PhpBB3, then done. After that I just want to rework the posts like I did here but that will be mostly copy/paste.

I never would've thought it but it seems that the attachment mod I installed on PhpBB2 correctly transfers the links and shit.

If you feel anything should be change, then suggest it. By the way I'll change the display for subforums later for one subforum per line. And also going to delete that "Moderators: blablabla" shit.

Is it possible to have the main banner link back to the home page of the website, instead of the board index? I'll try and get more used to the upgrade before I start naming all my suggestions.

Another thing that's a bit cumbersome are all the different fonts all over the place. You got some serif fonts, some sans-serif fonts, sigs with different fonts, etc. I guess the layout's still being worked on, so it's no big deal.

I would prefer that the backgrounds and shit matched the old style. The new background and shit is crap. Otherwise, the new features would be nice.
