Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)

If you bored a hole straight to the other side of the Earth, vacuum-sealed it, and then dropped something through, how long would it take for the object to get to the other side?

I believe that it would never reach the other side, since it would drop through, would get almost to the other side, then would be pulled back to the center by the force of gravity from the center. It's been a bit since I last took physics, and I remember talking about something like this but...I don't remember any of the specifics.
