How do high/low are your pants supposed to be anyway?

I want my jeans like... 1 or 2 inches below my belly button. But the stupid thing keeps falling off to the broadest part of my hips.

If feels really comfortable but I feel so damn lousy and I can't spread my legs apart as much as I want. The crotch part of my pants get in the way.

If I do it the way I want it (1 or 2 inch below the belly button), I get chocked when sitting.

Fuck. How do you wear jeans like a real man who doesn't care anyway?

I for one am a huge fan of the Carpenter style jeans, in so much that the extra side pocket flawlessly holds my cell phone and the crotch/thigh/waist allowance/seams are oh-so awesome.

I solve that problem by wearing a boyscout style slide belt. The way it buckles is brilliant for finding the right tightness.

Punched a hole on my belt, problem solved. It's an inch below my waistline. Any higher, I'll feel suffocated, any lower, the groin part will piss me off.
