And his arms are a bit teeny. Oh well, look at the male Priest's portrait: he's technically in his late teens, but looks like an adolescent. We'll just follow the same principle with this portrait.

His right wing (the one behind him) seems to bend more while flapping than his left wing (the one in front), this looks a little off and would provide too much lift on one side.

I think his left wing needs to bend more at the beginning and end of the flap.

@mav Looking forward to the portrait.

@Aura, yes you are right, but instead i might alter the right wing so it doesnt reach as high in the beginning, cheers.

So far, I've only gotten a rough version of the portrait ready. I may drop the weird collar thing (which hasn't really been worked on yet), but here's the WIP:

Oops, I though I mentioned that--I didn't give his shoulders yet, since I'm still deciding whether to keep the collar or not. It can't be seen on the sprite, so I dunno if it should even be on the portrait.

great sprite, twinees.
interesting start there, mav. :P

I say don't make the sprite have innate float.
It's still possible to make the sprite look floating without the 'float' status.
So that twinees can make a standing pose.

You mean the collar? Hmm....if throw away the collar, just shirt? Wait, isn't he topless in the sprite?

Yes, he's shirtless, but he should have a bit of his wings showing in the portrait. In fact, I'm still figuring out how to give this skinny fellow good shoulders to begin with...

EDIT: 16 colors, shoulders, no jewelry, no wings.

Wow mav, thats looking pretty good. the shoulders look pretty good as they are but im not sure about the eyes.... they seem a bit femine to me... but this may also be the shape of the face. I also like the idea of wings.

The good thing is you could put more shades of red in the hair, because there will only be skin and hair/wing colours and no clothes colours.

Looking good mav.

i think it is good with feminine eyes or with what mav did. . . angels or winged people seraphs. . . are genderless in distinction well in myth atleast. . .

Uh ok.. it looks great, but it does look feminine IMO. If you want to give it a more androgenous look I guess it's fine though.

Mockup with wings. Note that scaling this to size will inevitably cut down the wings to the point where they just look like little hairballs extruding from parts of his body. The eyes have been changed out as well.
