Sprite collab

I just finished all the dick exams and im officially free now for the summer, which means alot of free time.

Now, getting to the point of the thread..












Recently, there hasn't been a single completed sprite sheet on the site, and nobody seems to be doing stuff, or maybe they're stuck on their sheets. The thing is, with everyone going with their own individual sheets and stuff, the actual proyects may not go far with just a single individual behing it.

I propose a collab.

Think of it, if we join efforts, we might just get some of the better ideas made possible in a shorter amount of time, and thereby livening up the sprite forum's activity. I could be willing to collaborate with most of these, especially ones like Ryu's blue mage, or the Ashley Riot sprite, hell, anything with potential. In my case, you would not need to give me credit for helping, if that mattered.

i am all for it, i work slow but my spriting abilities are acceptable so i'll do whatever i can to help

I don't have a lot of time but I can pitch in a bit here and there. ^_^

Collaboration projects are tough to get off the ground and usually need to start off with a clear mutual goal. But to try to get things started I have an idea. I have essentially given up hardcore spriting at this point due to time constraints and other major projects I have going here. So I have a nearly finished Female Red Mage that has been sitting around gaining dust for maybe close to a year now. So I'm going to post my original photoshop file and ask for help because I just don't see myself finishing it. So hopefully it can count as collaboration because I got a really good start and just need someone to finish it now that I am unable to.

That is a very good call. I like the metal breast place and the bare and armored arms a lot. But everything in between could definitely due with some tweaking.

This is making me feel guilty about the lack of progress I've had with Ike.  Ugh, too many things going on, and I would go nuts if I spent all my free time on it.  Still, no excuse not to spend at least some time on it.  While I'm sure someone else would do a better job than I at the remaining standing positions, I would feel even more guilty about passing it off, especially with what little is complete now.  I've got mixed feelings about this.
