Need opinion on new Ramza Ch.2/3 palette

I'm thinking of giving him a helmet, too.

Palette 1 and 3 are the best ones by far

though there is still something that is lacking in the clothes under the armor for these palettes, maybe the color, not sure...

The colors you chose doesn't look very "natural". Don't pick colors randomly, start with a material like Silver, Gold, Iron, Ruby, Diamond, etc.

1 and 3 are OK

EDIT: It seems that's partially what you've done... May I suggest taking a look at real pictures and come up with a more exact colors? Your gold barely looks gold and I don't see why anyone would want a rusted armor.

The clothes under the armor are pretty much the same as the original so blame Square's artists. =P
All the colors are sampled directly from the vanilla sprites, which is what has most often been suggested to me.
I didn't intend it to be rust, but that's what the color reminded me of. It's from Mustadio's 'leather' stuff.
I'm leaning towards 1 or 2, but 1 is clearly winning. 2 is sampled from Gafgarion's armor which would fit for story reasons.

If it wasn't for the purple, the second would match the cutscenes.  I vote 1.  Something is just... off about the third one.  Not sure what though.

Maybe change abit of his armor, add helmet or something, cape. Depends on what type of job you plan for Radd and make a suitable palette for Radd. Adding extra like helmet, change abit of armor and etc is optional as we can see Ramza is doing great with just the palettes changed. ^^
Really looking forward on this.
Also, Vanya, I remember you made a classic knight right? Planning on finish that? ^^

Radd is going to be a Dark Knight, and I already have an idea for how I would mod Gaffy's helm to give him one more fitting to this sprite. I'll probably also give him different boots.

Ah that old knight sprite! You're the 3rd person to bug me about it, so I guess I better get back to work on it! =P
Actually, I was sketching helmets last night and I think I can adapt the FF3ds Knight's helmet for this one. I also redrew the Dark Knight helm from FF3DS to be less hideous. ^_^

there's still things you can do with the under-armor in palette#1 to make it better, not just adjusting the color

right now it looks very plain
