Hey, I found a neat trick. If you want to replace a sprite and the sprite you have isn't the right size open up your sprite manager with the one that is going to be replaced. Then import the new one and save. WHAM instant right size. I have almost learned all I want too.

The damn formation stuff is still screwing with me.

doesnt work with every sprite tho... what about malaks sprite? ill have to try that again

Retraction to my previous post. I tried to do the trick to get a 42.5kb.spr file into a 38kb/spr. Cut the bottom half so maybe it only works if you're trying to make a smaller into a bigger.

Formation and portraits are in Unit.bin.

I don't see the potraits. Even in the Portrait 1-9 its just the sprites.

I was on crack about the portraits. It may just use the portrait from the main sprite, or they're hidden elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure its hidden somewhere else because it would have changed the portrait when I switched sprites.

Well, EVTFACE.BIN has the portraits used in the special events. It's possible that the Formation portraits could be there too. I think Zodiac may know. If not, then we'll have to keep searching.

Also, by Sprite Manager, I think he means Shishi. But I'm not 100% sure.

i do your "neat trick", but when i do to rebuild it and put it into the ISO folder i play it and it says "Game could not be started what's happening?? please figure this out!
