all 3 of my mains are powerhouses with magic. and i just got jennifer and gordon so ill probably do the same training for them, but damn jen only has a C in magic... is there any equip that raises that?

Disgaea?  I think your skill in weapons is determined by your class, meaning that you either need to change class (impossible with heros) or just make them excel at something else, like stabbing things.

After using your skills, the weapon profiecency goes up.

just use the skills and weapons ALOT. having weaponsmasters at at least 30, helps the process... 300 is 300% faster...so 30 is 30% faster.

I played Disgaea 1 to death, but I still need to go back to Disgaea 3. I beat Baal, but I still have to unlock Lands of Carnage... I have pretty much all the Illegal tickets, but I just have to go do those stages.

Besides that I'm playing Metal Gear Online (online comes with Metal Gear Solid 4). It's a love/hate relationship, as Konami heavily favors one playstyle and LOLs at the idea of balance.

so even tho Jennifer has a C in staffs (magic) if her weapon has weaponmaster or is it armsmaster? equipped then she will still gain faster than a normal C rank? cause im tellin ya, even laharl who has a B its taking forever to get past lvl 10 rod/staff

I think rank ends up messing with your hit rate and damage(most people use skills anyways), not doesnt play to huge a role in leveling your weapon rank. It takes a LONG time, but i got to larharl to quite a high level in this one place...oh god its been so long sincei  played it...its in the map right before you fight gordon...all the enemies are set up in squares, all you have to do is the one move that targets a whole bunch of enemies in a square...cant remember the name of that either O.O

I think its a level 5 move.... Just put the item residents that increase attacko na weapon if you do this. it helps alot more if you can kill the guys in 1 or 2 turns, so you dont get killed yourself and spend loads of money. its rape if all you bring are armsmasters and your guys gets mauled.

yea i know that place with like 9 cat women thingies all in a neat little square, and i just keep giga ice ing them over and over

then theres that place with all the zombies and the  whole map is "exp+100" then if you stack several zombies into 1 you can get someone a quick level up

If you're going for levels in Disgaea 1, it's pretty much a waste until you get to Cave of Ordeals 3. 9 enemies in 3x3 formation and +xp geopanels on the whole map. that's the map for getting to around level 2000-4000.

And PS3 is kind of meh. The selection is very mediocre, though the few games worth getting are great. This whole generation sucks pretty bad so far =/

Yea. new consoles are a let down..

360 has best games, worst software and customer support.
PS3 has best software and planning/development.
Wii has excellent games, good software, good support, awful development, bug handeling, and even licesnsing new games

If youve read about "Bob's Game" youll know what im talking about.

I know you can get Rozalin and Adell in 3, but not in the PS2 version of 1. Maybe the PSP version is different. Also you can get Priere and Marjoly on the first run iirc. You just need to have a high enough level in the Senate and be on the last chapter I think. Priere and Marjoly are both easy to get if you don't mind abusing the AI. Throw Priere out to one of the floating islands and then rip her apart with Dimensional Slash. For Marjoly get her behind of the obstacles near her thrown and then while keeping it between you move far enough way so you can just hit her with Dimensional Slash. The AI won't be able to move close enough to attack you in one turn, so it will just stay and wait for you to advance even though you're damaging it safely out of range.

thanks for the tip, i wonder if they are all that useful at magics being monster classes and all....

i am playing the psp version, ld said u can get adell and rosalin for sure... but i guess you have to be pretty high level
