Alright, ever since I mentioned in this topic that my brother was a DJ, I've had this one track stuck in my head that he used to always use as the climax of any gig he spun. I could hear it in my head clearly, but I had no clue who or what it was. I finally just called him up and asked him, and even he had a hard time remembering and ended up having to dig through his mountain of vinyl to find it. Once he finally did, I spent some time hunting online, and I've finally found a clip somewhere!

By the way, my brother used to mix house, trance and funk. So this is a little different from what we've been sharing so far.

EDIT: Link updated to my own upload

I don't know. Maybe you guys won't be as impressed. But this is also brotherly nostalgia for me, so I'm excited.

By the way, Emma Shapplin is best known for the aria she did for The Fifth Element (anyone familiar with the movie knows exactly what I'm talking about). Although, compared to her other work, that one's kinda off the deep end and not as good, in my opinion.

Here's my personal favorite:

I'm up for any sick dance beat, that's mostly the type of techno I listen to. I didn't get to listen to that beat though, I'm to lazy to get RealTime Player, tomorrow I might.

Although, I have been getting into some of the slower stuff lately. Maybe because it's winter?

I refuse to play Final Fantasy Tactics again until I am able to do my FF6 patch! And, FFT 1.3 doesn't technically count as FFT: so there!

How does people feel about Ratatat? It's not quite Techno, but it is electro-funk.

My personal favorite song of all time by them: Nostrand : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6kxExi5wSs

Another good one: Kennedy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GooXFwD3ZTE

And probably their most popular song: Wildcat : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1H7vZYBeHc

And another favorite band, hence my name, is Daft Punk. How does people feel about those guys?
