Well, I want to get PSP sprites, but I have a little problem...  I have no idea how to.  Now i looked at the tutorial section and it said the system was for PSX.  If the process is the same sorry for making this topic, but if it is different and you know the process, please tell me, thanks a ton.

You need UMDGen.
I refuse to play Final Fantasy Tactics again until I am able to do my FF6 patch! And, FFT 1.3 doesn't technically count as FFT: so there!

Bear with me, it takes a little bit of work and time to get them.

- Open up UMDGen and open up the ISO in it
- You'll see a folder, PSP_GAME, on the left. Expand it and you'll see two more folders under it. Click on the one that says "USRDIR." You should see the movie folder and the fftpack.bin file on the right.
- Right-click on the fftpack.bin and click on "Extract Selected." Place the file wherever you want.

Once that's finished, we're done with UMDGen, so you can close it out. Now you need FFTPacther. Fire that up and...
- Go to PSP > Utilities > Extract fftpack.bin
- Select the fftpack.bin file you extracted from the ISO
- And then choose a place to put the extracted files. There's going to be a bunch of folders, so I recommend selecting a new folder to put the files in
- When it's finsihed doing to extracting, go to wherever you chose to put the files. One of the folders there should be labeled "BATTLE." All of the sprites are in there.

With the new shishi I don't think you even need to open up the ISO.

well I'm new here so hello everyone

let me start by saying that i have almost no idea what i am doing when it comes to hacking but i love this game so much that i'm trying my best to understand it

now i loved Dominic's description and it worked...but i found shishisprite editor just needs the iso and it uploads all the sprites...

all i need to know is....for shishi is there anyway to ADD more characters or something? to be honest i wanted to make a test by using sephiroth but i couldnt add him in there....i could only import his file which if imported it overwrites the character i had highlighted at the time....so basically if i had gone through with it all my summoners would look like sephiroth i imagine...

so that's why i'm asking if there is a way to add characters....and if not by shishi then maybe by dominic's description?

Nope, but you can replace the unused characters. That's the best it can get so far, unfortunately.
