when i load my FFT ISO on ePSXe, it always freezes at the opening screen where it says "Squaresoft"... this didn't happen before because i had to start playing my previous playthroughs somehow (i just load save states now, which works). Anyone know how to help?

did you patch a patched iso? O.o

edit:  Alternatively, re-patch a clean iso and see if that does it for you.

No, it happens for my patched iso and my unpatched iso? i think something is wrong with the emulator? i'm using a different one (PSXeven) for now, and it's running ok, but it's not as convenient
