Yes, finally, and with the PC Version available from day one. A new era for FFT modders begin.

On the bad side, it seems this is a FFT remaster, not FFT War of the Lions Remaster, clues seem to indicate that all the extra content from WotL seems to be out, which is beyond stupid.

FF Hacktics here already made a excelente job creating a version that put together all the content from different versions, including the Sound Novels, seems completely bonkers if the official remaster will actually cut content previously available.

Thank God for the modders for a lot of reasons, for sure. However, I didn't get the impression that this was a remaster of the original version. They seem to have jammed the WotL script even into the "Classic" version which to me implies that that's likely the version they worked from for both. It sounds like the "Classic" version might have the gameplay from the original, but if they're using that script I can't see how or why they would cut content. I guess we'll find out soon enough, it's less than 4 months away!

I'm so insanely excited I've been shaking lol! I can't wait! I wanted to get on here and ask if folks were going to update/create software to mod it, but I'm sure it's gonna happen. There are a couple things I'm worried about, like the roster size. If they don't have at least 30-40 slots, I'll be very, very disappointed. Ever since 1997 I've thought that there should be roster space for every special character, several generics, and at least 1 for each monster type. I hope it happens! What is everyone else thinking??
