That is... that is... whoa... that is... whoa... this is Fantastic! Greater then anything I had ever dreamed up! Talk about setting off from the base, haha! This is so much more stylish, artistic, and just in better sense! And it tells you first and foremost who are the main characters as soon as you load up the game! I'm a horrible critiquer and can only Praise this fantastic piece of work!

That logo is just awesome. It only needs a recolor to fit the yellow - orange - redness of the Mercenaries Title screen.

That is so very very cool. Definitely keep that original piece of art around too. My only critique would be that Rad's head looks a lot smaller than his partner's. If anything I think you should shrink Gaf and Ramza's. This is very cool stuff to see.

That definitely adds something to it, the only thing I don't like is that the Agrias/Gafgarion Title screen seems to disappear because of it, is it possible to keep both?

This has been a concern of mine as well: we had a nice looking, somewhat elaborate background but the new logo will likely eclipse that image. I'm guessing this is why the title screens in most Final Fantasy games include a light image for a background or a solid black/white background.

Personally I like Mike's try a lot... even if the Agrias backgrounds can't be seen...

I'll take my final veredict after seeing more verisons though..

I think* there is no limitation, since the titlescreen is in .JPG format.
