oh my goodness a blonde type ignis? hehe, if you recolored ignis hair to blonde and gave it ramza's chapter 2/3 arms youd almost have a match for your new avatar

allright, well anyway, i suppose i'll take the time to mention some spell changes.

Dark Holy = Darkness
I't has been made equal in damage and mp cost to that of Holy

Demi = Gravity 25% damage to current hp Dark Elemental
AoE changed from 1 to 0
CT Lowered by 1 point due to AoE loss
success rate 255

Demi2 = Gravira 50% damage to current hp Dark Elemental
AoE changed from 1 to 0
CT Lowered by 1 point due to AoE loss
success rate 255

dummied truth skill = Graviga 75% damage to current hp Dark Elemental
AoE changed from 1 to 0
CT Lowered by 1 point due to AoE loss
success rate 255

dummied truth skill = Gravija set targets hp to 1 Dark Elemental
AoE changed from 1 to 0
CT Lowered by 1 point due to AoE loss
success rate 255


Scream = Fury
+2 PA instead of what it normally does

Bio spells have been consolidated into 4 spells that can randomly cause different status ailments Bio-Bioja damage values are equal to that of Black Magic elemental spells.

extra Bio spells have been turned into Aero-Aeroga, Quake-Quakega
3 truth spells converted into Water-Waterga

Melt, Quake, Tornado have been given a damage value of 40
to make them all equal

Leviathan dragon removed, the spell has been converted into Flood
a matching spell to go with Melt, Quake and Tornado

Salamander picture removed, spell has been converted into a high level fire spell "Incinerate"

Haste 2, Slow 2, Return 2 have been given max range like galaxy stop

Galaxy Stop now costs 40 Mp

Despair 2 = Quasar damage value 4 (like melt/tornado/quake/food) Darkness Elemental AoE 2

Flare 2= Omegaflare, Blue magic its Flare 2 but with an AoE of 2 as well
Alicia can learn this

Ultima 2 = Blue Magic
Ovelia and Alma can learn this (an AoE 2 holy spell might be created for Them to learn instead)

dummied un truth skill = Gather Mana
MA*5 non charge restore MP
Enemy Only

Dummied dragoner skill = Endure
Target self only, Instantly cast Shell, Protect and Defend
100% success

Dummied dragoner skill = ???? punch skill
similar to Wave Fist, but unavoidable

Dummied dragoner skill = Haymaker
close range, extreme damage (value currently undecided)

10blank skill slots below parasite have been converted into
Sword Spirt which is Draw out that costs mp instead of drawing a sword.

3 dummied un truth skills:
Fire Skean
Water Skean
Thunder Skean
Draw out radius, non charged magic damage for Rafa and Malak's job

Venom Blade
range 4
AoE
Inflicts Poison 100%
Darkness Elemental

Dummied bio spell = Choco Down
acts like a phoenix down without using an item

I belive they are spells based on the various Skeen weapons that the ninja Shadow would throw at enemies in FF6/3US to deal magaical elemental damage to multiple foes. I think it's a very fitting choice since Rafa and Malak are supposed to be like these magical ninja assassins.

lol, yeah they r gone, but have you tried out Silf? i think i changed it already, it does wind damage

that reminds me, i am also going to make Lich have the normal magic damage formula as well with just as much accuracy. Darkness elemental summon.

so anyway...

To continue on:

I hope you guys are cool with 1.3 style monsters. im not following their skillsets exactly... im a bit reluctant to have normal chocobos doing choco ball, but it might be interesting. youll probably find that spells like protect and shell will come in alot more handy in my patch.  (at least when im done anyway) and DC! 2 can play *puts random job lvl8 monks everywhere* just kidding

any suggestions are welcome as well as i have to edit pretty much every monster's stats a bit.

due to the fact that the less used 3 elements, wind, water, earth are going to have more of a spotlight in my patch monsters now have different weaknesses. ANYTHING with float status is weak to wind, bombs half wind to nullify this so dont bother, but they are weak to Water, not ice.

Panthers are now weak to fire

dragons absorb their element

Minitaurs are weak to wind due to their element being earth which is opposing.

I think ill change goblins weakness to water, and make bombs weakness Ice. but im still debating that.

Jura Avis are weak to earth as their element is opposite
they can be hit by earth attacks since they arent actually floating.

floatiballs ... hmmm weak against what..? well i think they are naturally weak to wind as well.

anyway, as you can see the new elements will now be just as useful as the normal 3 you have. only thing is there are only a select few characters that can use them (currently)

Also DC im sure you've noticed by now but Oracle spell effects use the short versions (which i think match other ff games more than the ones that have the little phantoms)

Monsters: the biggest changes with monsters, when you control them they cannot defend, exception being Boco, but if ai is controling them they can.

they now cannot breed, and monsters are the only type of units that can be invited. All monsters have 3 skills + a beastmaster activated skill.
so chocobos who normally only had choco attack and choco cure will now have something else.

there will be rare encounter monsters (level 4 monsters with ??? status)
and those monsters will have innate beastmaster.

the only status growth changes are to MP and MA and elemental weakness. some monsters will have innate non charge (mainly the ones with only status spells, monsters with powerful attack magic will probably still have short charge. so there are advantages to having monsters sometimes.

also some sprites need to be updated, here is one of mine, can you tell the difference between dead aeris A and Dead aeris b? thats right the second one looks like she was run over by a steam roller. had to fix that...

Goblins can go into water.
Why would flotiballs be weak to wind???
Panthers should be weak to water, since they can't go in water.

yeah that makes more sense, i guess i could either keep goblins weak to ice or make them weak to fire.

and aeris b lol blame whatever jap guy attempted to make her dead frames without any depth perception
