I may sound rude but I think this thread as is is pointless since people barely picks requests from others to create new sprites and the first post is really outdated ¬¬
Whenever someone request anything here people come and just say 'do it yourself' or 'no one takes requests' . . . when someone 'picks' a requests it is probably because the person had it in mind to do it . . .

I'd suggest either : [s:35ihwvmv]close this thread[/s:35ihwvmv] make it a 'request thread' ( not for new sprites but for .spr's/images/sheets/information that already exists and people don't seem to find it . . . like Aliste spr

It doesn't matter if people actually do sprite requests or not, people always make them. The point of this thread is to prevent a new thread from popping up every time someone wants a sprite made.

Frankly all this trolling of people making requests IN THE PROPER THREAD is juvenile. Yes requests are almost never fulfilled, yes it would be better for everyone if they did it themselves, but we do this with about half of all our new members and trolling everyone who makes a requests is not helping anything. Give advice or just don't say anything, the new folks will figure it out.

Changing this thread to be about requesting for already existing sprites is pointless. They already exist somewhere on this site if people take the time to look, plus the majority of them are at this link:

Apparently newbs like Andy above have no intention of even trying to make the slightest effort. They ALL whine the same thing: "I don't have any artistic talent" or "I don't know how" or "I don't have time to sprite", same old bs over and over and over again, demanding totally random sprites that have no relationship to Final Fantasy whatsoever, and sprites that no one will use in patches besides themselves. I give up with this thread, but I am thankful that people like Mav have helped me in the past to find existing sprites.

I see no trolling Cheetah (well maybe jon's last post lulz.) We're just telling them not to expect anything. Maybe edit the first post to say requests rarely get acknowledged? It seems they only read the first post anyway, as they're adding requests right after someone says nobody does them. It kinda makes me mad, the sheer laziness of it. Instead of learning HOW to do it they ask for YOU to do it....

People are just being particularly unhelpful in this thread and it is embarrassing. Instead of a "Welcome to FFHacktics, where all your dreams come true" Andy got a whole bunch of insinuations about his character.

BTW Andy someone has actually already done some work on a Ryu sprite from BoF. It was never submitted I believe but it was done by Zozma. It was a long time ago but if you do some searching you could probably find it.

It's the simple golden rule guys, if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. If their requests are quickly responded too, people figure out pretty quick that it doesn't happen and they move on on their own. Take a moment to notice that this thread is 49 pages long and has been around for a long time. It is extremely common for new members to requests sprites, it is part of the learning process that most members go through.

Looks like I already done what you are saying,cus I spent this whole day on this website,and look at everything,I was so amazed of all the downloads sections and the sprites you have,that I join this forum,for my love of final fantasy tactics.
