WOTL save file decryption / raw value editing

Hi, I want to find out how to edit the raw stats in WOTL for an upcoming playthrough.

The problem with LionEditor is that it doesn't allow you to specify the raw value itself, but rather the end stat you receive. I imagine I'll need to hex-edit the save file to do this, but I'm under the impression it's encrypted. Does anyone know how I can decrypt it and edit that?

It seems there's an easier method since the last time I googled this subject.

Behold, the power of Google.

The old methods were either using PPSSPP's native features, or a decryption plugin on the PSP itself.
