New version for bugfixes. I've also added the temporal .fttpch patch version for the Spanish version.
Hey again, I've been very busy with other projects and this project is still in a very low priority.
I had some time to fix some bugs but I didn't have time to test the Reis one (It is probably fixed as I made some experimental changes and now are back to default with only visual changes). Don't forget to tell me if you found any other bug. I'll try to make v1.06 when I can, in preparation for v1.1. Maybe I'll even make a small 1.07 patch too. I'll try to work on the patches if I have some time, recording the playtesting. I have now a new PC so I need to install again everything to record the dev playthrough. Stay tuned to Youtube to see the changes. When it is the new version? I don't really know.
If you had this bug (which only one person said that had it) try to play again that bugged mission just before you pick Dragon Reis. Cya!
P.S. Also, due to this bug, probably the new unit will be cancelled, but I have some ideas. The experimental changes were made changing the unit itself to make space fot that a new unit were a test, but my intention was to just make it visually for the patch.
So... What also can be done to make space for more units? Even enemy ones. Let's see the options looking at the sprites:
1- Try to change Lettie and Celia sprites that were never used into NPCs that help you but don't join you. The issue? These units are not "linked" so you can't use their sprites for the enemies.
2- Try to change guests. The issue? This is hardcoded for PSP and it is linked into the original unit spritesheet.
3- Try to change Elidibus or the Archaic Demon into another human unit. These units have spritesheets to use as they are monsters and humans at the same time, so you can use them in battle. The issue? It is probably hardcoded in some way and you also need to remove something from all the monster sprites... The only space for the sprite on the monster side I found is in the Reis dragon. Maybe there's a space there but I'm gonna combine it with the next option.
4-Try to make it a Guest for the Deep Dungeon, maybe even permanent. This is probably the best solution. A +1 space for a broken unit in the post-game. If I want to make it playable I probably need to change all the Archaic Demons fights and units (sprites, portrait and everything else), as it will probably don't break the game as much. It will count as a monster that you can use (because it also needs to be human to use skills). The game will be ready for that? I don't know, but it should.
The issue? I don't know how to make a permanent Guest in the battles, probably my idea can't be done due how the game works. But just for the deep dungeon battles? For sure.
I could also try to make a final deep dungeon battle with a lot of bosses or add some bosses to the battles.
So what are my options? Very hard and limited. For now this new unit that is a Dragon Knight is replacing: A "Holy Dragon" unused job, the Dragon Reis sprite that was moved into Bermondt's Dark Dragon sprite and it counts as a generic monster as well as Byblos. Which portrait does it have? Idk. This new unit doesn't have any skills yet. Maybe you can encounter a bug in this last fight as it doesn't have a menu unit spritesheet. If this is the case, I'll need to replace the Arcaic Demons, probably.
I can also try to add Alma for when you defeat the final boss, but it is already a Guest - so it can be difficult to do. Or Elidibs when you defeat it. Anyway, I'll have to test it. If you test the last battle of Deep Dungeon, tell me what happens.
