Hate to be pestimestic here, but I don't really see this going to completion (any time soon if ever). But hey, if this worked, I'd play it for sure (gotta be free though...).

Wow you're right, I dunno how I missed them, there are definitely some overlaping values.

Oh yeah, I've made sure the coordinates don't overlap, they are all the default values so I dunno whats up with that. In fact I left most values as the default, only changing sprite, job, level, jobs unlocked, equipment, and skills. I don't know what most of the others do so I mostly leave them alone.

How does one going about apply these changes? What tools / guides should I be looking at? Would appreciate it if someone could direct me to the right place for that.

Also not really a request, but there doesn't seem to be a formula for straight up +MA (MA equivalent of accumulate's +PA) is there? The only one is vanilla scream which also increases speed. I won't be able to put it to use, but it might interest some other people.

Yeah, if there was a sticky with this info, I probably wouldn't have made this post (I for one actually read stickies!). Another possible bug, on Terminate 4's ENTD, I think only the first 5 slots seem to generate enemies? I've created enemies on the later half put them on Always Present and double checked that everything was right and they wouldn't appear. Of course I could've just messed up somewhere as well.

PSX FFT Hacking / All Magic all skills learned
January 25, 2009, 10:29:32 pm
So I changed Calculator's math skill to 41 All Magic and it seems to work. The only issue I'm having is that all skills in there are always already learned. I havent done much testing but is this normal or did I just miss a step? If it is normal, is there an easy work around in FFTpatcher (not hacking)? Thanks.

EDIT: Moving all the skills down like 6 slots seemed to fix this.

Here's another vote for holding it off.

Some full mods are being worked on (I'm thinking of the Mercenaries one), I think while there are limitations, its fully possible if you know what you're doing (which I don't).

You'd only have to remove people from the roster if you wanted all unique characters right? How quick and painless is adding items to the psx version cause I'd like to do that.

PSX FFT Hacking / FFTPatcher's Save and Load Formation

I'm new to this, but do we know what these markers in the ENTD do? There's also a blank one in between the two?

Then there's a bunch of markers missing or unknown in the ability section. Anyone know what the boxes under Learn with JP, Action?, Learn on Hit do? There are 5 blanks and 4 unknowns...

Sorry if its been asked and answered before, I did a forum search but couldnt get it.

Quote from: "boomkick"I tried that once. In the first Garliand City Battle, Delita moved to his original spot, then proceeded to cast Giga Flare.

Lol, didnt see that coming. I can see how it might be fun to have all sorts of random things thrown at you since I'm guessing most of us already played this game too death and know what to expect from a typical FFT run. It'll keep you on your toes. I don't plan to try it though.

I take it no one is doing it though. How long would it take for me to do it alone from scratch, what would I need to learn (direct me to a post?). I probably wont do it though, I'm too lazy and am expecting to be bogged down by other work soon.

I also use epsxe. You will need to find the plugins, but there is a program that lets you easily input lots of gameshark codes at once. Since it works, I have not felt the need to change or try others.

Any update on this? This was one of the major reasons I signed up here lol.
