There was an old post askin the same thing before, but there wasnt a definite answer if could be played on the psp, thank you for the answer

Use of ePSXe before 2.0 is highly discouraged. Mednafen, RetroArch, and Duckstation are recommended for playing/testing, pSX is recommended for debugging.
