Final Fantasy Hacktics

FYI, this is still a problem with Easyvent upstream, but I'm glad I was able to find this thread to correct it!

Not sure what the best way to get the attention of the maintainer is, but anyone who is a) just using the event files shipped with the editor rather than dumping their own TEST.EVT and b) just making minor dialog changes to the existing game is likely to encounter it.

Speaking as someone who hates the WOTL script and really likes 1.3, this is the most promising Hacktics project for me right now. Can't wait to see it come to fruition -- hope you toughen up Chapter 4 despite wanting to keep the game "fair"!

I'm brand new to the Hacktics community, but I am a pretty longstanding FFT fan -- so much so that I prefer 1.3 over most other mods for its difficulty and faithfulness to the original, and I prefer the PSX script to the PSP one (I miss some of the character that comes across in the more unaffected dialogue). However, I'd be the first to admit that the PSX script could seriously use some polish.

I was wondering if a) anyone's tried to do a re-write of the PSX script without even acknowledging the PSP version's writing, and if not, b), if someone has a dump of the PSX script lying around that I can try to re-work on my own. It'd be appreciated!
