Final Fantasy Hacktics

Hello everyone,

My name is Zephemus and I'm a huge fan of Final Fantasy Tactics, both the original one and War of the Lions, I just recently heard about this community bringing new life into it by hacking the old system and modding the game to make it fresh again.

I'm interested in playing and adding to these modded versions but I'm afraid I don't know exactly where to start. I'm not a long time modder though I'm familar with programming languages such as C, C++, Java and JavaScript.

I'm reading up on the tools and downloads on the main page right now so hopefully I can learn more there. But if anyone could help me with a solid foothold to start with modding I'd really appreciate it. I'm also looking for modding and development buddies so if you want, message me on here and let's get something together.
