is that the same for skills ? cause i have a 8 skills flagged for each element and none of them are working

im altering the mantray spells into elemental sword attacks i got everything working, the animation action damage and all , but for some reason the elemental properties wont go into effect , i keep checking and i have them checked right . is something im doing wrong ?
